The Secondary School Trivia Night last week brought together all Secondary School parent leaders to recognise and thank them for the time and effort they are dedicating to supporting parents this year. Everyone enjoyed meeting their counterparts from other Year Groups, and these connections will be invaluable as we look ahead to putting on the Spring Fair later this year.

On behalf of the Parents and Friends Association, all parents and the school community, we extend our sincere thanks to all PCG parent leaders for the vital role they play in keeping the wheels of communication turning at Redlands.

Spring Fair 2026 | Saturday 12 September 2026

A highlight of the year, our Spring Fair is a cherished Redlands event, brought to life by our incredible parent volunteers. In 2023, over 400 volunteers helped welcome 5,000+ guests to the Senior Campus for a truly unforgettable day.

Planning is underway, and we’re looking for Coordinators to lead teams across rides, stalls, marketplace and the performance stage. If this sounds like you, we’d love to hear from you. please email us this week.

Mother’s Day Classic

Join Team Redlands at the Mother’s Day Classic and help fund critical breast and ovarian cancer research.

• Sunday, 10 May. The Domain, Royal Botanic Gardens
• 5km or 10km – walk or run

Limited edition pink Redlands pink caps are available from our Uniform Shop for $25 – of which $6.50 will be donated to the charity. Mother’s Day Classic participants will also receive a free pink t-shirt subject to size availability.  (Please note caps are not available to order from Flexischools)

Second Hand Uniform Sale

We will be holding our next Second Hand Uniform Sale on Tuesday 21 April from 8am-10:30am at the RPFA unit, 1 Monford Place (just around the corner from the school uniform shop on Military Road).

Donations can be dropped at the uniform shop on Military Road during opening hours. Please make sure donations are: 

• clean
• good quality (something you would be happy to buy)
• part of the current uniform
• Please, no socks, swimmers, or brands which are not sold by the uniform shop, such as M&S or Next.

We look forward to seeing you on the first day of Term 2!

Snowsport – Second Hand Clothing and Equipment Sale

Snowsports bookings has opened, all students are welcomed to participate from Redlands House all the way to the Secondary School through clipboard.

Tickets are now on sale for the Snowsports Second Hand Sale. If you have gear to pass on or sell, please book a table for $20. The sale is open to anyone in the community (including the public) please pass onto anyone interested. There will be Redlands race jackets for sale, boots, skis, Winter School uniforms and other equipment old and new and a fundraising BBQ by Friends of Snowsports. A fun afternoon to enjoy with the Snowsports Community.

Upcoming Parent / Family Get-togethers 

Redlands community social calendar is alive and kicking. Below is where you will find upcoming social events organised by our Parent Reps for each year if you’d like to join in.

CONTACT US by 12pm each Wednesday to list your event. Please provide a date, time, location and RSVP details, if applicable.

Walks on Tracks

Please come along to Walks on Tracks for some exercising socialising with a wonderful bunch of new friends.  Everyone’s welcome and feel free to bring friends or family. Most routes are dog-friendly, just check the schedule below.

Walks begin at 8.50am and run for 1.5–2 hours, with a coffee stop afterwards for those who can stay. If you’re running late, just text Ann Marie (AM) so the group can wait.

Book Club

Our next meeting will be Monday 4 May from 11am, to discuss Eva Reddy’s Trip of a Lifetime by Fiona McKenzie Kekic. We are excited to announce that we will have the author joining us!

The Redlands Book Club brings together current and past parents who love to read and warmly welcomes new members. We meet twice each term in members’ homes to discuss a book, with the occasional outing to a related event, movie or show. 

We generally alternate between daytime and evening meetings to accommodate different people’s schedules. All new members and book lovers are welcome, even if you have not finished the book!
