September Dance Events
We have a very busy September at the Academy, starting with our Dance Awards Dinner.
Friday 11 September

Join us for a special evening as we celebrate the achievements, commitment and growth of our students.
The Dance Awards are for not just those performing on the evening. Whether your child dances in a Performance Group, participates in examinations, attends curriculum dance classes or simply enjoys being part of the Academy, this evening is for you.
We are excited to host the event at the newly renovated Club Willoughby, with the evening hosted by our 2025 Leadership Award recipients. Guests will enjoy performances from our Performance Groups, including our very special Junior Performance Groups, while coming together as a community to celebrate another wonderful year of dance.
We are also thrilled to welcome two distinguished Redlands alumni guests:
Ariane Beeston, author of Don’t Forget to Smile, who will share a reading from her book and reflect on her journey beyond Redlands.
Emma Sandall, former ballerina with Béjart Ballet and The Royal Ballet, now an acclaimed dance critic and choreographer, who will speak about life after a professional dance career.
More Opportunities for Students to be Recognised
This year we are excited to expand our awards program, creating more opportunities than ever before for students to be celebrated. Alongside our traditional awards, we will introduce a number of new award categories designed to recognise excellence across different dance styles, as well as students whose commitment, effort and growth have been evident throughout the year.
We encourage all students and families to attend and celebrate the achievements of our entire dance community. You do not need to be performing or receiving an award to enjoy this inspiring and memorable event.

This special production gives many dancers their first opportunity to experience the excitement of performing on stage, creating a delightful experience for both performers and audiences.
Family and friends are warmly invited to attend.
